The DSE 400 is a compact separation system, which was specially designed for the dewatering of sludge and for the separation of mineral solids from suspensions during deep drilling or similar applications with high proportions of silt.

DETAILS

Instead of a collection of equipment from various sources, the DSE 400 is a field-proven network of separation components specifically designed to function as a single unit. During each separation stage, a maximum of solid particles is removed from the slurry. The modular system guarantees continuous and fast advance rates, reducing downtimes to a minimum. The innovative screening technology combined with hydrocyclones constitutes a complete recycling concept, providing optimal removal of critical fine particles down to 20 microns and guaranteeing constant slurry properties.

The DSE 400 consists of:

  • a linear vibration screening machine for the pre-separation of coarse solids such as gravel and clay lumps
  • a linear vibration screening machine for the separation of coarse solids such as gravel, pebbles and coarse to medium-grain sand
  • four hydro-vacuum cyclones with a size of 12 "
  • a linear vibration screening machine for the separation and drainage of the underflow of the hydrocyclones, which contains solids such as fine sand and silt
  • 24 multicyclones with a size of 4 "
  • a linear vibratory screening machine for the separation and dewatering of the underflow of the Mycyclones, which contains solids such as fine sand and silt
  • a 40 foot process tank with integrated spraying
  • two integrated WARMAN high-performance feed pumps
  • a central switching unit with accessories and
  • a KSB Etanorm TBM feed pump


Adjustable discharge chutes, a foldable working platform and plug-in railing parts ensure a safe working environment and optimal access to the system parts and make the system immediately operational. This reduces the construction time to a minimum.

The vibratory screening machines and the cyclones are fed in a space-saving manner through a firmly integrated piping and line system.

All components such as screening machines, cyclones and funnels are installed in a 30-foot container frame and the entire electrical wiring can be individually plugged into each part of the system.

The cabling is permanently installed on the tank so that the cables are safely stowed away when the 30 foot container frame is dismantled.

For transport, the entire system can be divided into two parts: a 40-foot tank and a 30-foot container frame in which any equipment can be attached.

The remaining 10 feet of mounting surface on the tank are intended for the installation of a DSE ZR17254 or DSE ZR15046 decanter unit, each of which is installed in a 20 foot container.

The vibration screening machines can be equipped with a large selection of different tension and frame screens, which are available in mesh sizes from 4 mm to 45 μm.
